Shrimp Fries

Ingredients:

– 6 to 7 large potatoes (cut into 1/2 inch wedges) – 1 cup vegetable oil – salt and pepper to taste – 1 cup Real California Oaxaca Cheese, grated – 3 tablespoons Real California butter – 1 teaspoon garlic, minced – 30 shrimp, deveined and tail on – 1 teaspoon cilantro – 1 avocado, sliced – 1/2 cup Real California crema con sal – 1/2 cup Real California Chipotle crema – A few squirts of salsa Negra – Pickled jalapeños :Potatoes, Crema, Fries, Seafood, Shrimp, Hispanic, Oaxaca, Finger Food, Hispanic Dairy

Directions:

1. In a large pot filled with water over a medium flame, bring to boil.

2. Boil wedged potatoes for 12 minutes.

3. Drain potatoes from water. Season with salt and pepper.

4. In a large frying pan over a medium high flame add in vegetable oil and allow it to get hot. Once the oil is hot, add in the boiled potatoes.

5. Fry on each side until golden crisp, about 10 minutes on each side.

6. Remove fries from oil and drain on a paper towel lined plate.

7. Place fries on a tray and sprinkle with Oaxaca cheese.

8. In a large frying pan melt butter over a high heat.

9. Add in shrimp, and garlic, stirring often for about 3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.

10. Sprinkle cilantro over shrimp and mix to combine.

11. Pour shrimp over the cheese fries.

12. Add slices of avocado

13. Drizzle Real California Crema Con Sal, and Chipotle crema over fries.

14. Squirt with salsa negra and add a few jalapeños.

Prep: 10 minutes

Cook: 30 minutes

Yields 6 servings
